Overview
These Terms of Service apply when you visit the detElio Auto Spa website, request a quote, book an appointment, authorize vehicle services, or communicate with detElio Auto Spa. By requesting or approving service, you agree to these terms.
Custom Quotes And Service Scope
detElio provides custom quotes because vehicle size, condition, goals, service selection, correction level, tint needs, and protection options vary. Website content, phone conversations, messages, and photos help with the initial recommendation, but the final scope may be adjusted after vehicle inspection and customer approval.
If a written quote, invoice, aftercare instruction, or product-specific warranty is provided for a service, that written service-specific document controls the details for that service.
Appointment-Only Studio Work
Services are performed by appointment in a private studio environment serving Cypress, TX and the Houston area. Studio location details are provided after quote review and appointment confirmation.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate vehicle information, sharing known concerns, disclosing prior repairs or sensitive areas when known, removing valuables and personal items, providing vehicle access at the scheduled time, and following aftercare instructions provided after service.
Vehicle Condition And Service Limitations
Detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating, window tinting, headlight restoration, odor removal, and related services can improve appearance, clarity, comfort, and protection, but they cannot guarantee removal of every scratch, stain, chip, odor, water spot, etching mark, oxidation issue, prior repair issue, or hidden defect.
Some defects may remain because they are too deep, unsafe to chase, caused by age or prior damage, or located in materials that cannot be corrected without risking further damage.
Ceramic Coating
Ceramic coatings are selected around paint condition, preparation needs, use, storage, wash habits, and maintenance expectations. A ceramic coating is not scratch-proof, rock-chip-proof, dent-proof, or maintenance-free. Coating performance depends on proper preparation, curing, washing, storage, and ongoing care.
Paint Correction
Paint correction uses careful machine polishing to improve gloss, clarity, swirl marks, haze, oxidation, and light defects. The goal is meaningful improvement while preserving paint integrity. detElio may recommend a conservative correction approach when paint thickness, prior repairs, edge safety, or defect depth make aggressive correction inappropriate.
Window Tinting
Window tinting recommendations are based on comfort, heat rejection, glare control, privacy goals, and vehicle glass. Customers are responsible for choosing film levels that comply with applicable laws and inspection requirements. detElio may decline tint requests that appear unsafe, unsuitable, or noncompliant.
Headlight Restoration, Odor Removal, And Specialty Requests
Headlight restoration and odor removal are reviewed case by case. Results depend on lens condition, interior materials, contamination source, previous cleaning attempts, and how deeply odor or damage has reached the vehicle. These services improve the condition where possible but do not guarantee a like-new result.
Photos And Media
detElio may photograph or record vehicles for service documentation, before-and-after review, training, portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes. detElio aims to avoid showing license plates, exact private locations, or identifying customer information when practical. Tell detElio before service if you do not want your vehicle used in marketing.
Payment
Payment is due at pickup or completion unless another written arrangement is agreed before service. Any applicable taxes, product charges, add-ons, or approved scope changes may be included on the final invoice.
Cancellations And Rescheduling
Appointment time is reserved specifically for your vehicle. If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact detElio as early as possible at 346-489-3901 or Email detElio. detElio may reschedule appointments due to weather, illness, equipment issues, supply delays, vehicle condition discoveries, or other circumstances that would prevent the work from being completed properly.
Pre-Existing Damage And Liability
detElio is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, prior repair issues, weak clear coat, failing paint, failing tint, loose trim, worn upholstery, brittle plastics, electrical or mechanical issues, leaks, warning lights, or personal items left in the vehicle. If a concern is discovered during service, detElio may pause work and contact the customer before continuing.
Aftercare
Customers are responsible for following aftercare instructions provided for ceramic coatings, tint, detailing, odor removal, headlight restoration, and other services. Skipping aftercare, using harsh chemicals, improper washing, abrasion, neglect, or environmental exposure can reduce results and durability.
Communications
When you submit a quote request or contact detElio, you may receive calls, emails, website chat replies, or customer-care text messages related to your inquiry, appointment, service follow-up, review request, or maintenance reminders. The quote form may ask for a phone number so detElio can call you about your request, but the quote form does not enroll you in SMS/text messaging.
SMS Program Terms
SMS consent is collected only through the website chat widget when you enter your phone number and check the unchecked SMS consent box. By opting in, you agree to receive customer-care text messages from detElio LLC / detElio Auto Spa about quote requests, appointments, scheduling updates, service updates, and replies. Message frequency varies, typically up to 6 messages per quote request or appointment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
SMS opt-in consent and mobile phone numbers are not shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact Email detElio.
